Possessing over 30 years of experience in the health care management industry, Dan Neumeister currently serves as Principal of Neumeister Healthcare Management Services, providing executive management for health care entities facing transitions, short-term leadership voids, mergers, acquisitions, or negative financial positions. Once contracted, Dan Neumeister utilizes a number of protocols to institute far-reaching changes, from containing costs to growing and expanding service lines, depending upon each client’s unique scenario. Always focusing on the client’s core mission statement, Dan Neumeister seeks to improve employee morale through an inclusive approach to personnel, and crafts creative solutions to institutional problems.
Neumeister Healthcare Management Services, which was established in 2007, has completed a number of successful engagements with health care facilities and networks. Recently, Dan Neumeister served as the Chief Executive Officer of Chase Brexton Health Services, based in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, he provided stability in leadership while executing control over the company’s operations, finances, and overall service and direction. In another engagement, he provided guidance and key leadership for the Seneca Hospital District’s Board of Directors during a time when the organization was attempting to readjust its management structure and relationships with outside entities and care providers.
Prior to forming his health care consulting and management firm, Dan Neumeister served in executive roles for the Enloe Medical Center, located in his current hometown, Chico, California. During his nine years with the Center, he held the titles Chief Operating Officer, System Senior Vice President, and finally Chief Executive Officer.
Dan Neumeister nurtures active connections with his industry and his community. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and maintains membership in his local Chamber of Commerce. He acted as the Chamber's Chairman of the Board in 2006. He has spoken on issues pertinent to executives through the Chico State University Executive Lecture Series.
